April 2, 2019 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

It’s been cool and dry this week, but warmer weather is coming! So is some rain, but that’s a day or two away. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Saturday!

We’re still below average on the thermometer for this time of year, but that’s about to change. High pressure goes from near us to east of us, which will bring south winds and warmer weather. Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Becoming mostly clear. Low 34.
  • Wednesday-Mostly sunny. High 65.
  • Wednesday night-Partly cloudy, low 38.
  • Thursday-Partly sunny, high 73.
  • Friday-Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 72.
  • Saturday-Partly cloudy, with a small chance of rain. High 75.

As mentioned above, high pressure will bring us good weather through most of Thursday. It’ll be a bit chilly tonight, but for the next two days, that’s the worst it’s going to be.

By Thursday night, a cold front will bring rain to our area, and maybe some thunderstorms. The rain tapers off during the day on Friday behind the cold front, with only a small chance of rain starting the weekend on Saturday.

I know it’s a big weekend, so next time on the blog I’ll have a full forecast for the weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, including chances of racing. Have a great Wednesday!
