Thursday started off with a lot of slush for many of us, as snow fell and had rain fall on top of that. Most of that is gone now, thanks to a day of scattered showers. We’ll have a good chance for snow showers tonight and tomorrow before we clear up for the weekend. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for tonight through Sunday!
Straight to the outlook we go…
- Tonight-Clouds and fog with some light rain/drizzle changing to light snow/flurries. Low 32.
- Friday-Cloudy, windy and cold. Snow showers or flurries at times. High 38.
- Friday night-Decreasing clouds. Low 18.
- Saturday-Mostly sunny. Highs near 40.
- Sunday-Partly cloudy. Highs near 50.
The system that brought the slush this morning is moving on out of here. In its place will be some moisture coming around that will be the drizzle and snow flurries or showers tonight into tomorrow. That will be well behind the front, but also leave as it does. I’m not expecting much accumulation through tomorrow.
Once the low pressure and what’s left of it leaves, dry weather and sunshine take it’s place. That high pressure, though, brings cold weather tomorrow night and Saturday. We warm up to near average on Sunday for the first time in a few days.
The next thing on the way will be a new storm system coming in early next week, which could bring chances of rain or snow as soon as Sunday evening. I’ll have more on that as we get closer to it. Have a great Friday!
