October 16, 2020 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

Today, the high temperature happened around midnight. It was pretty warm ahead of the cold front, but once it passed, cold weather returned. We’ll see clouds decreasing tonight to cause frost and possibly freeze conditions in spots by morning. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for the weekend!

This should be all the rain we’re going to see today, as the clouds behind the cold front follow it away from our area. After a frosty start tomorrow, the weather looks fantastic this weekend! Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Decreasing clouds. Frost or freeze possible. Low 34.
  • Saturday-Mostly sunny. Highs near 60.
  • Saturday night-Mostly clear. Low 37.
  • Sunday-Mostly sunny. High 67.
  • Monday-Partly cloudy. High 72.

High pressure centers itself over our area on its way to the coast tonight into Saturday. That’s what will bring us the chilly weather. If you have plants outdoors that might have issues with the cold, you’ve got a few hours to protect them from it!

After that, Saturday will be a chilly day for the most part, then we warm up to near average on Sunday and above that on Monday. By Monday, a cold front may get close enough to us to spread some clouds our direction. It looks more and more at the moment that rain will likely not be an issue, but I’ll keep an eye on that and update more on Sunday morning.

That’s all for now, get out there and enjoy a fine fall weekend!
