September 8, 2020 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

It’s another sunny day, with no rain in the Tri-Cities area right now. We should have mostly dry weather in the coming days, except for our typical summer afternoon showers and storms. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Saturday!

Here’s a quick look at the forecast over the coming days. Be aware that it’s not going to rain “all day” any day this week. It’s going to be off and on storms at worst, and that’s maybe Friday. Everything else will be pop-up showers and storms where someone next door might get rain and others won’t. With that said, here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Partly cloudy. Low 62.
  • Wednesday-Mostly sunny, with a small chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. High 88.
  • Wednesday night-A small chance of a lingering evening shower or thunderstorm, otherwise partly cloudy. Low 64.
  • Thursday-Partly cloudy with a few scattered showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon. High 85.
  • Friday-Mostly sunny with a few afternoon showers and storms. High 85.
  • Saturday-Partly cloudy with some scattered showers and storms. High 85.

A cold front moves through late this week, which will bring a better chance of rain and thunderstorms for Friday and especially Saturday.

The blog might be a little sparse the next few days with our fall fundraiser going on at WHCB tomorrow through Friday. I’ll try to get back in here and post another one before the weekend. And make sure to listen to us as we raise money to keep WHCB broadcasting! In the Tri-Cities, we’re at 91.5 FM. You can also listen online at WHCBradio.org.
