May 13, 2019 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

May 13, 2019

It’s quite cool out there for a day that’s near the middle of May here in the Tri-Cities. Thankfully, these cold snaps have become cool snaps here in Spring, a sign that summer is definitely near! Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for tonight through Friday!

The sun is out in force this afternoon, and will make a regular appearance throughout the rest of the week. There will be some clouds around from time to time, and toward the latter part of the week, some of those may bring us some rain. It does look mostly dry for the next four days. Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Partly cloudy. Low 43.
  • Tuesday-Partly to mostly sunny. High 67.
  • Tuesday night-Partly cloudy. Low 44.
  • Wednesday-A mix of clouds and sun. High 74.
  • Thursday-Partly cloudy, a small chance of rain late. High 78.
  • Friday-Partly cloudy with a couple showers and storms possible late. High 82.

I can’t say there will be complete sunshine every day this week, because various storm systems will get close to us this week to keep some clouds around our area. I think most of them stay far enough away from us to keep us in dry weather through Wednesday.

After that, we’ll start to see a few rain showers on Thursday. It won’t be an all-day rain event, nor will we all see any rain at all, but there is a chance. We’ll be back to temperatures just above average by then as well.

On Friday, expect more clouds and a better chance of rain in the afternoon. Still, I think many of us can get through the week without rain until Thursday evening, when some storms will be possible.

So, for the most part, it looks like dry weather this week, with some rain showers possible from Wednesday night through Friday. That’s not so bad, especially once we warm up some more in a couple days. Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a wonderful evening and Tuesday!
