May 9, 2019 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

Rain is becoming more and more of a factor in our weather, starting with last night for a little while, with some showers and storms possible tonight all the way through the weekend. Welcome to a rather soggy Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Monday!

All of that being said, we won’t see rain all the time, especially not tomorrow or Monday. The best chances of a lot of rain, unfortunately, are Saturday and Sunday. Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Cloudy, with rain developing. Low 62.
  • Friday-Partly to mostly cloudy with off-and-on showers and storms. Highs near 80.
  • Friday night-Cloudy skies with a few showers and storms. Lows near 60.
  • Saturday-Mostly cloudy, rain and thunderstorms likely. High 74.
  • Sunday-Clouds and rain, maybe a thunderstorm. High 73.
  • Monday-Clouds and rain early, partly cloudy by afternoon. Highs near 70.

A cold front over the middle of the country will move toward and through our area tomorrow, then stall out. From there, it’ll move back north as a warm front on Saturday before a new cold front moves everything out of here on Sunday and into Monday.

So, we’ll have rain starting tonight, with breaks in the rain off and on through tomorrow night. Rain is likely on a regular basis through the weekend while the fronts are around. As the last cold front moves through, things will clear up on Saturday.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast. Have a great Friday!
