December 15, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

December 15, 2017

The weekend is almost here! The good news is, we’ll have a dry weekend…for the most part. There is some rain in the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Monday, so let’s get to it!

It’s been cooler today than expected, with clouds around deep into the afternoon. High pressure centered over the South will keep us dry (at least) through Sunday afternoon, then rains may come from that direction. Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Decreasing clouds. Low 23.
  • Saturday-Partly cloudy. High 46.
  • Saturday night-Partly cloudy. Low 25.
  • Sunday-Increasing clouds, with rain possible in the afternoon. High 48.
  • Monday-Cloudy, but only a small chance of rain. High 58.

We’ll have no problems with weather through early Sunday, other than cold mornings. We will start to warm up by Sunday, but that warmth brings rain chances in from the South as well.

As of now, it looks like we’ll be between fronts on Monday. So while we may see a lot of clouds during the day, there’s only a small chance of rain. Those clouds will keep temperatures down a bit, otherwise we could be talking about 60 degrees.

In fact, I’ll produce another forecast this weekend, and that may include a 60 for Monday. So stay tuned to the blog for that, either Saturday or Sunday evening. Have a great weekend!
