October 30, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

October 30, 2017

The sun is out, but it’s still a cool Monday. We’ll not be as cold tonight, but a warm up is coming later this week. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Friday!

With that warm-up also comes rain chances for the last three days of the week. I don’t think it’ll be a lot of rain in that period of time, though, and definitely not like Saturday. Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Partly cloudy. Low 37.
  • Tuesday-Partly to mostly sunny. Highs near 60.
  • Tuesday night-Partly cloudy. Lows near 40.
  • Wednesday-Cloudy with some afternoon rain showers. High 64.
  • Thursday-Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain. High 68.
  • Friday-Partly cloudy, rain possible by afternoon. Highs near 70.

A cold front moves through tonight, but it’s very weak. In fact, it won’t get much farther past us before it moves back north as a warm front on Wednesday. That will bring us our next chance of rain, it looks like on Wednesday afternoon.

Each of the last three days of the weeks holds its own rain chances, but it appears right now that Thursday holds the smallest chance of rain, with Wednesday the most. What’s interesting is whether or not rain slips in here in time for football on Friday night.

As usual, I’ll keep an eye on that in the coming days, with forecasts each afternoon at about this time. Have a great Tuesday!
