October 22, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Weekly Forecast

October 22, 2017

It’s been a fine weekend, but clouds have come in today. Rain-bearing clouds are coming tonight, and we’ll see some heavy rain at times tomorrow through Tuesday. Welcome to this week’s Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast!

Off to the outlook we go:

  • Tonight-Cloudy and windy with rain toward morning. Low 57.
  • Monday-Cloudy with rain and thunderstorms. High 68.
  • Monday night-More clouds and rain. Low 45.
  • Tuesday-Cloudy and windy with a few rain showers. Highs near 60 (early).
  • Wednesday-Partly cloudy and cooler. Highs near 50.
  • Thursday-Mostly sunny. High 63.
  • Friday-Partly cloudy. High 68.

A cold front moves through tomorrow evening, and that’s the rain maker through Tuesday, with a second one drifting through then. It’ll take a bit on Tuesday and Wednesday to get clouds out of here, but once we do, things turn chilly.

In fact, Wednesday will be our coldest day in quite some time, as we’ll struggle to get up to 50 degrees. But as usual, we tend to warm up quickly around here. From 50 on Wednesday, we’ll gain to 63 degrees by Thursday and way up into the upper 60’s by the end of Friday.

Then, another cold front will be approaching. So expect clouds to roll in Friday night, with rain showers possible into Saturday.

Thanks for reading the blog today. Have a great week!
