August 11, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

August 11, 2017

We’re having another cooler than average day today, with rain showers off and on throughout the area. We’ll have warm and muggy conditions throughout the weekend, with rain showers possible each day to some degree. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for tonight through Monday!

Off to the outlook we go:

  • Tonight-Cloudy with scattered showers and fog. Low 68.
  • Saturday-Mostly cloudy with some scattered showers and storms. High 83.
  • Saturday night-A few evening rain showers, otherwise cloudy. Low 64.
  • Sunday-Partly sunny, a small chance of rain in the mountains. High 84.
  • Monday-Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. High 81.

A cold front moves through tomorrow afternoon, and after that it may well stay south of us through the weekend. The closer it gets to us, though, the better chances of rain we’ll see if it returns as a warm front or wobbles up here as a stationary front.

Look for off-and-on showers and storms ahead of the front tomorrow, then most of us get dry weather tomorrow night and Sunday. As far as next week is concerned, we’ll have the front back here, bringing more scattered rain showers and storms during the day.

As mentioned earlier, it’ll be quite muggy until the cold front moves through, then humidity drops a little bit on Sunday. We’ll be back to warm and humid conditions on Monday.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast! I hope you have a great weekend!
