August 6, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

August 6, 2017

It’s a sunny, dry Sunday, but that trend ends starting late tonight, with scattered storms likely off and on through much of the coming week. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Friday!

A cold front moves through tomorrow, and ahead of that showers and possible storms start later tonight. We’ll see rain and storms off an on during a cloudy day tomorrow, highs only getting into the mid 70’s with all the clouds around. Storms are likely to continue tomorrow night, with lows in the upper 60’s.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy, but also feature some scattered showers and storms from time to time and highs near 80. Wednesday should have more periods with dry weather, but scattered storms are still possible with highs around 83.

Late in the week, a stationary front will be hanging around, so each day will bring partly cloudy conditions with off-and-on showers and storms. Highs should end up in the low 80’s, with 84 the warmest day of the week on Friday if the rain doesn’t get us early in the day.

That’s it! Tomorrow will be the coolest, most rainy day of the week, with the rest of the week with good portions of the day with sunshine each day. That’s what gets us to near 80 Tuesday, and into the low 80’s each day the rest of the week.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a great week!
