June 11, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Week Ahead Forecast

June 11, 2017

It’s been a wonderful sunny weekend, a little warm at times, especially late this afternoon. More heat is on the way, but humidity rises and helps supply thunderstorms this week as well. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Friday!

  • Tonight-Partly cloudy. Lows near 60.
  • Monday-Mostly sunny and hot, with a couple stray mountain showers and storms. Highs near 90.
  • Monday night-Partly cloudy. Low 64.
  • Tuesday-Partly to mostly sunny with a few afternoon showers and storms. High 88.
  • Wednesday-Partly cloudy with some scattered showers and storms. High 87.
  • Thursday-Scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 87.
  • Friday-Scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 87.

High pressure will be near us throughout the week, but humidity levels will rise in the coming days regardless of that. Once heat and humidity combine, more often than not we’ll get more in the way of heat of the day showers and storms.

We have better chances of rain and storms later this week, but I’m not sure either Thursday or Friday will be complete washouts. I’ll have more on that in the coming days this week.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a great week!
