March 24, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

March 24, 2017

It’s a warm day, with a lot of sunshine and clouds around. We’re going to see one more dry day before the rain starts tomorrow night and through much of Sunday. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for tonight through Tuesday!

Everyone’s quite warm today, with temperatures in the 60’s in the mountains to the low 70’s in East Tennessee. For sure, it’s a beautiful day, with one more to go! Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Partly cloudy. Low 48.
  • Saturday-Partly cloudy with a small chance of rain late. High 75.
  • Saturday night-Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Low 54.
  • Sunday-Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 72.
  • Monday-Partly cloudy, a few scattered showers and storms. High 74.
  • Tuesday-Becoming mostly cloudy, with rain and storms from time to time. High 74.

We’re going to have two systems moving in, from the southwest to the northeast in the next four or five days. That’s what will bring a chance of showers and storms for each part of the forecast starting tomorrow night.

Look for dry weather for sure through most of tomorrow, then rain moves in tomorrow night. Thunderstorms are possible as the cold front gets closer, especially late Saturday night and through much of Sunday.

Monday may be mostly dry, but I can’t rule out a few rain showers. Better chances of rain look to be on Tuesday as well, as another cold front moves through.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a great weekend!
