March 19, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

March 19, 2017

Behold, it’s the final forecast of Winter! Spring starts tomorrow, and we’ll have warm weather for the first couple days, and even behind the cold front it won’t be too cold. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast, starting with the week’s outlook.

  • Tonight-Mostly clear. Low 30.
  • Monday-Partly to mostly sunny. High 68.
  • Monday night-Cloudy with scattered showers. Low 45.
  • Tuesday-Cloudy with rain showers. High 68.
  • Wednesday-Mostly cloudy. A few morning rain showers. High 54.
  • Thursday-Becoming mostly sunny. High 59.
  • Friday-Partly cloudy, maybe a late rain shower. High 65.

Very quickly, we are going to see a cold front moving through our area early Tuesday. Starting tomorrow night, we’ll see rain move through here, with the possibility of a thunderstorm or two. Tuesday will see scattered rain showers as well, then it all ends by early Wednesday.

After that, we’ll be dry for the rest of the week, other than late Friday as a new cold front approaches. We may get through the daytime hours Friday without any rain, but it’s possible for the coming weekend.

I’ll have updates as I can through the week, but baseball might take me away, especially tomorrow. It’s a big game, Sullivan South vs. Unicoi County, they’ll have first pitch at 5 PM. I’ll start coverage a few minutes prior to that on 870 AM, 100.7 FM, perhaps 96.3 FM, and online via the TuneIn app. Let me know you’re listening by tweeting @wxmc!
