February 3, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

February 3, 2017

There wasn’t much to write home about with today’s weather, it’s been cold and cloudy for all of us. We’ll see warmer temperatures coming up with today’s quick look at the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast!

I have a few extra responsibilities today, quite important ones, in fact! So here’s the outlook-only forecast:

  • Tonight-Decreasing clouds and cold. Low 17.
  • Saturday-Partly cloudy. High 45.
  • Saturday night-Increasing clouds. Low 25.
  • Sunday-Mostly cloudy, a few morning snow showers/afternoon rain showers. High 54.
  • Monday-Partly to mostly cloudy, small chance of rain late. High 62.
  • Tuesday-Cloudy with rain likely and possible thunderstorms. High 68.

High pressure will move over our area tonight, and then move past us to our north tomorrow. That will allow a cold front to move in, and that’s what will bring the Sunday rain chances. A warm front moves through here Tuesday, and that will bump our temperatures up a lot ahead of some showers and thunderstorms.

I’ll have a full look at next week’s forecast on Sunday evening. Have a great weekend!
