January 10, 2017 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

January 10, 2017

It’s been a very busy day in the studios with moving things around, so here’s a quick forecast for the rest of the work week. I’ll have a look at the weekend tomorrow afternoon!

  • Tonight-Mostly cloudy, with rain developing late. Lows near 40.
  • Wednesday-Mostly cloudy, rain likely through mid-afternoon. High 57.
  • Wednesday night-Mostly cloudy with a few scattered showers. Low 44.
  • Thursday-Partly cloudy with a small chance of rain. Warmer, with highs around 65.
  • Friday-Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs near 60.

It looks like two cold fronts will move our way in the coming days, with the first one stopping before it gets here and returning north as a warm front. From there, the second cold front will move through late. The interaction between those fronts will give us something of a chance of rain all the way through Friday.

That said, a dry day is likely on Thursday, with a good chance of rain late tonight and tomorrow. Off-and-on scattered showers are possible on Friday.

I’ll have more details on tomorrow’s forecast. Have a great Wednesday!
