December 13, 2016 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

December 13, 2016

It’s been a cold, rainy afternoon, with the rain part different from what I thought would happen today! But, thanks to an early arrival of rain, we’ll see it go away sooner. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for tonight through Sunday.

Straight to the outlook we go, with some more cold weather on the way:

  • Tonight-Light rain showers, may mix with flurries late. Low 34.
  • Wednesday-Mostly cloudy, with fog from time to time. High 47.
  • Wednesday night-Partly cloudy and cold. Low 21.
  • Thursday-Partly cloudy and cold. High 29.
  • Friday-Partly cloudy. High 37.
  • Saturday-Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 57.
  • Sunday-Rain likely. Highs near 50.

A cold front moves through tonight, and then another one early Thursday. That will bring us rain for the rest of the evening, but the second front won’t bring anything but cold weather. Our next winter cold snap happens Wednesday night through Friday before we warm up again with rain this weekend.

There is a chance that some of the rain Friday night and Saturday may be freezing rain. I’ll keep an eye on that for future forecasts, but a chance of freezing rain exists Friday night and Saturday.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a great Wednesday!
