November 10, 2016 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

November 10, 2016

Dry weather continues around our area, and even though there’s a cold front on its way toward us, it appears we won’t see much rainfall for quite a while. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for tonight through Monday!

It’s a seasonably cool fall day, with temperatures in the low 60’s here in the Tri-Cities this afternoon. Our friends in the mountains have temperatures in the upper 50’s, while it’s the mid-60’s near Knoxville. Very little of that will change for afternoon highs in the forecast, and it doesn’t appear rain will happen either. Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Mostly clear, frost possible in spots. Low 30.
  • Friday-Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Highs near 60.
  • Friday night-Partly cloudy. Low 33.
  • Saturday-Mostly sunny. High 59.
  • Sunday-Mostly sunny. High 63.
  • Monday-Partly cloudy, a couple rain showers possible. Highs near 60.

The aforementioned cold front currently sits from Wisconsin to Kansas, and into Colorado and Utah. It will get through here by tomorrow morning, but our very dry conditions won’t change very much, so the front will bring us weather a degree or two colder, and the usual wind shift.

That said, a few more clouds are possible tomorrow, but that’s about it. From there, the sky should be mostly clear through the weekend. Low pressure develops south of us by Monday, so we may have a couple rain showers thanks to that to start the work week.

From there, it does appear that a stronger cold front is going to bring us some rain showers next Wednesday. Hopefully that will bring some more rain, because we definitely need it!

Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a great Friday!
