November 6, 2016 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

November 6, 2016

We’ve had another warm and dry weekend, but it was chilly in the mornings since Friday. We’ll stay dry for a couple days before our next chance of rain comes in around the middle of the week. Welcome to the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Friday!

There’s rain showers in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas today, and that will add to a cold front in the northwest to bring a cold front that might get a little rain in here in a couple days. It does, unfortunately, look like we won’t see anything substantial in the rainfall department in the coming days, though. Here’s the outlook:

  • Tonight-Partly cloudy. Low 37.
  • Monday-Mostly sunny. High 72.
  • Monday night-Mostly clear. Low 37.
  • Tuesday-Partly sunny. Highs near 70.
  • Wednesday-Partly cloudy, with a few rain showers. High 58.
  • Thursday-Mostly sunny. High 62.
  • Friday-Partly cloudy, a few showers possible. Highs near 60.

High pressure over most of the eastern part of the country will keep rain away in the coming days, but a cold front will attempt to change that late Tuesday. That front will be to our northwest, but close enough to bring clouds in by the afternoon, and a few rain showers for Tuesday night.

Some of those showers may linger into Wednesday, which looks to be a chilly and mostly cloudy day…we may see the sun peek out from time to time, hence the “partly cloudy” in the outlook above.

After that, we should see a good supply of sunshine on Thursday. Another cold front may be around by Friday, bringing a few more clouds and some rain. It’s far enough away, though, that the rain chances don’t appear that good right now. I’ll keep an eye on that in the coming days.

The bottom line is, Tuesday is the big day to get out and vote. We should have no problems weather wise getting out to the polls, so if that’s an option for you, go vote! Have a great week!
