July 15, 2016 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

July 15, 2016

Busy times in the weather office on this Friday requires drastic measures. So, welcome to a quick Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Tuesday!

Clouds have kept temperatures down today, and I’m not hearing much complaints about that. I still think we’ll heat up quite a bit in the coming days. Here’s the outlook:

Tonight-Cloudy, with a few showers and storms. Low 67.

Saturday-Cloudy with some showers early, partly cloudy by afternoon. High 88.

Saturday night-Partly cloudy, a few scattered showers and storms. Low 65.

Sunday-Partly to mostly sunny, only a small chance of rain. High 92.

Monday-Mostly sunny, with a slight chance of rain. High 92.

Tuesday-Partly to mostly cloudy, with a few storms possible. High 86.

A weak cold front will stop very close to, if not right on top of us tomorrow, before moving north as a warm front on Sunday. That will keep showers and storms around through Saturday night, before we warm up into the low 90’s to finish the weekend and start next work week.

While “showers and thunderstorms” is in the forecast a lot, no day in the next four will be a washout. The best chance of rain will be late tonight, early Saturday, and then late Saturday evening. After that, it should be only heat of the day, pop-up storms from Sunday through Tuesday.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a great weekend!
