June 29, 2016 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

June 29, 2016

It looks like summer weather is going to be the rule of the day for every day the rest of the week, especially after Friday. So with that in mind, here’s a quick Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast through Sunday. Straight to the outlook we go:

Tonight-Partly cloudy, low 60.

Thursday-Partly to mostly sunny. Slight chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm east of the Tri-Cities. High 87.

Thursday night-Partly cloudy. Low 62.

Friday-Partly to mostly sunny. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible, mainly late. High 88.

Saturday-Partly cloudy, with a few showers and thunderstorms. High 89.

Sunday-Partly cloudy, with a few scattered showers and storms. Highs near 90.

We do have a cold front coming down out of Canada in the coming days, and that will give us some rain chances starting Friday and through the weekend. However, most of the chances of rain are typical for the summertime. Most of us should stay dry, but there will be showers and storms popping up in the afternoon each day.

So as of now, it doesn’t look like anything will be a washout, but there could be delays in anything you’re attending outdoors from Friday through Sunday, but things should be mainly dry for the most part.

I’ll have another update tomorrow afternoon at about this time. Have a great evening!
