June 2, 2016 #TriCitiesWx Forecast

June 2, 2016

There have been storms here and there this afternoon…literally here since it rained for a little while in Bristol today with some lightning and thunder. We’re going to see some more of that over the next few days before we cool down a bit! Here’s a short edition of the Tri-Cities Weather Blog forecast for tonight through Monday!

Showers and storms diminished our temperature output this afternoon, as the official high is 84 degrees for late this afternoon. Sunshine behind the storms might push us back up before sunset, though, as we went from 77 degrees up t0 80 between 4pm and 5pm out at the airport.

We’ll see a few scattered showers and storms tonight, diminishing as we get later in the evening. Look for patchy fog in the morning as well, as we drop temperatures by then to around 62.

Friday will feature a mix of clouds and sun, with more clouds and scattered showers and storms during the afternoon, could start late morning. Highs around 84. Tomorrow night will have rain showers and storms off and on as well, with overnight lows around 63.

The weekend doesn’t look too good, as a cold front drifts our direction this weekend. Saturday should feature a good bit of dry weather, but scattered showers and storms will be likely in the afternoon as we warm up to 85 degrees. That front moves through our area on Sunday, so expect numerous showers and storms on a mainly cloudy day. We’ll be cooler, with afternoon highs around 78.

By the time most of us go back to work on Monday, we should see cooler, less humid conditions. Another cold front will reinforce that fact, so we could see a couple rain showers to start next work week. Otherwise, expect a mostly sunny day, with highs around 78 degrees.

Thanks for checking here for the forecast, have a great evening!
